With Lego's Mindstorms and Cybermaster, and Sony's pet robots, robotics is going mainstream. Why do you enjoy your particular robots?

I'm more of a programmer than a hardware hacker, so the Lego Mindstorms RCX product lets me get my hands dirty without dealing with analog circuitry. With its great lego architecture and the NQC compiler, I can experiment and tinker. Great stuff!

BEAM has the most potential of any philosophy of robotics I have found. It is based on simple concepts that can be built on, expanded upon, and adapted too, or include just about any other type of robotic concepts there are.
